Think of MedAccelera as your right-hand man…a Chief Operating Officer, if you will. MedAccelera has the experience to:
- Validate your unmet clinical need and determine your target market identifying the existing gold standard, its limitations, and vulnerabilities, as well as the economics of use (pricing, reimbursement, etc.).
- Assess your technology and intellectual property to define how your potential product can compete in that space and what it would need to achieve to drive adoption
- Define a comprehensive Operating Strategy that includes a:
- Regulatory strategy (Indication for use, classification, and pathway)
- Pre-Clinical/Clinical strategy (initial Proof-of-Principle, animal studies, First-in-Man studies and beyond)
- Product Development Strategy (Defining User Needs, Creating Product Requirements, Developing Design Concepts, Prototype creation and evaluation and all steps towards Human-use product including Verification and Validation)
- Implement a Quality Management System (QMS) under which the company will execute all this work including Document, Design and Supplier/Manufacturing controls.
- Define a Financing round that optimizes the balance between the deliverables (Milestones) and Cash required to ensure the best valuation uptick at the end of the round while preserving the most equity for its founders
- Package all this into a detailed business plan and pitch deck that includes subsequent investment rounds, milestones and funding required, a team growth plan, an IP development strategy, and an exit strategy.
Our involvement can take many forms – from an advisory role for a specific need, to a business lead responsible for creating the fundraising strategy, to a full-time executive both creating and executing the fundraising strategy and operating the startup.
